Feel pretty good actually. Although right now I still consider it a major accomplishment that I didn’t die. Goal achieved! Yay me! But when I do the physical inventory my left Knee is reporting that it’s pretty pissed off right now. But it’ll get better. I hope. My plan is to start Couch to 5K on Saturday. That’s why I’m prepping by jogging in small bursts during my walks. On Sunday I threw in 3 blocks of jogging. Today was 5 blocks. Friday I’m shooting for 7. Then I think I’ll be ready to start C25K. Or I’ll be dead in a pile on the walking path at Lake Hollingsworth. If you find me, call somebody, maybe varmint removal? And consider that to be a “no” on whether I’m ready to start seriously jogging. Something I found yesterday, I can climb 3 flights of stairs now without getting completely winded!!!! So something is happening that’s good. Vitals are all good, Sugar is stable, so maybe I’m onto something?

Food notes: Still can’t believe that I’ve given up Coke completely. Didn’t even put it in Rum. Tonic and lime is better, not as sweet. I hope I can make it thru the holidays without total collapse. I have relented and am going to cook on Thanksgiving, but I’m still doing the Turkey Trot and I’m changing up stuff on the menu. Since it’s not a traditional celebration, the traditions are being set aside. We’ll see how it goes. Still using real butter, sorry, you’ll pry it out of my cold dead hands. Probably some cream too. Just not everything heavy, like my usual. If you have a good recipe for Boniato Mash let me know… yeah, I know, WTF? White sweet potatoes. Very good too. Anyway, still using Healthetrim, one in morning and one at noon. Still not twitchy, still feel good, and best of all am NOT HUNGRY. Meal sizes are a fraction of what I used to eat, craving water, ALL THE TIME. And I’ve learned to live without the coffee. One cup a week, on the weekend, and I went from a Venti Mocha with Whip to a Tall 1 pump non-fat Mocha with extra foam, no whip. And even that is on the “too sweet” borderline. I know, freaky!

Okay, enough navel gazing! Back to your regularly scheduled stuff. CYA in a week.
