Yep, Mabel’s in a cone, again. Ear infection, again. So I’ve ordered some sort of all-natural food. Working under the idea that maybe, just maybe, she has some sort of allergy that’s causing the recurring events known as “Oh Crap, Mabel’s got the ear crud again”, and “Jeebus Mabel, quit licking your damned paws already!”. And truth be told, I’m finally taking this step after reading about Chatty Kat’s success with one of her kids. Proof yet again that the internetz is really good for more than just pron and conspiracy theories. It’s also good for finding people blathering about their “precious babies”… and you found one of us. Sorry. Oh, so you did come here for pron? Okay, you’re a freak, and just for you, here’s a pic of a live nude puppy…

Still working on finding a good natural alternative for massive dose Insecticide spot-on Flea Treatment. It appears that the reaction is over and we’re back to the usual crazy with the dogs. Lulu has a bare spot on her tail as a souvenir of her toxic poisoning Flea Treatment, poor thing. Because Lulu doesn’t have much tail on her heiney and that makes the big white spot on the side of it just stick out even worse. Hopefully the hair will come back, hopefully. And, yes, I’m still waiting for a callback from Sergeant’s, there’s been none yet. Apparently they aren’t too worried about dog health… just about selling dog care products. I’m sure that I won’t be helping them out with that mission anymore. Sorry, but I need partners in that area that actually care whether their products harm the creatures they say they want to help.

So, enough blathering about the dogs. For now anyway. Nothing too inspiring around here. Sorry. Maybe I should just post pictures of Mr. Cheesy? He was a real hit generator… hmmm.

  1. Well, if it makes you feel any better, I haven’t received any follow-up calls from Sergeant’s either. They did, however, show up on my Stat Counter; so the rascals have read my entry on the blog. You know, they least they could’ve done was send Angel a “Get Well Soon” card.

Sorry to hear about “Yeastie” and “Baldie”. Tell them Aunt Jennilu sends best wishes.

  2. Awww, what an adorable little pup! Btw, I think the Innova is a great natural food too. My dogs love it!

    Thanks for the mention!

  3. Just trot on out to AgriFeed and pick-up some Cal Natural (that’s “California Natural” dog food from Natura) in the Chik’n & Rice flava. Worked for our super-sensitive, pale-skinned Golden whose ears had more yeast in them than a tanker truckload of Guiness! The fewer ingredients, the less funk. And you can take dat to da house.

  4. And just so u know, we see lots o’ bad, bad things from Sergeant’s & Hartz, etc. Nothing good comes from them. Talk about Chinese junk!
